Who Am i, What am I, do you even care or am I just
another face going unnoticed. The government killed
most of our leaders, we got to brave in the heart.
Self hate, self conscious, self righteousness, why we
all hating on the skin that makes us alike, we can scream
MARTIN HAD DREAMM, but do we really care about the people
or is money the only motivator. They say Black Power is angry
but were in a country where our existence is almost erased.
It’s time man, woman, and child, dark skin, light skin come
together see how beautiful we really are. Kids screamin
WHO AM I, WHAT AM I, stop worrying about who’s radical
and who’s not, teach these kids about the Angela Davis’
Bell Hooks, Bobby Seale’s, Fred Hampton’s and Booker T.
Washington’s. Tell kids they can be a Champ like Ali
and rock the world like Frazier. Show them the spirit of Assata
and they will be free. Too many young black boys gettin
shot by cops and they fellow brothers, when they should
be finishing school and learnin what it means to be a
strong black man until they can’t breathe no more.
Young Black girls turn off the video vixens and walk like
a Queen and see you are beautiful. We’re stronger
united than divided, it’s time we do it for our culture,
do it fr the people who never made it. Were suppose
to have penitentiary minds, broken car batteries for hearts,
and bodies of animals, we overcame that, but were still
fighting within ourselves. Soon it wont be Who am i, What Am i
but I Am What I Am.

لکه ګل چې په اوبو باندې تازه شي
. داسې زړه مې ستا کتو باندې تازه شي“like a rose that becomes fresh with the touch of water
such is my heart, becomes fresh at the sight of you.”
